Real Canadian Weddings Submission – FAQ
1. How do I submit my wedding for consideration?
Please refer to our how to submit section.
2. Who can submit a wedding to be featured by CanadianBride.com and/or Today’s Bride magazine?
We accept submissions from photographers and recently married Canadian couples. If you are a photographer submitting, please ensure that you have the
couple’s approval. If you are a couple submitting, please ensure that
you have the photographer’s approval.
3. Can I submit a wedding even if it has already been featured elsewhere?
For online, we prefer to feature weddings that have not been featured elsewhere, but we are open to accepting submissions that have been featured elsewhere. For print, we ask that Today’s Bride receive exclusive rights to feature the photos first (with the exception of the photographer’s/vendor’s blog or website).
4. What kind of details did you want from the images?
We love to feature Canadian couples with inspirational celebrations. Fashion, accessories, shoes, cakes, bouquets, favours, hairstyles, reception decor, shots of the couple and the wedding party – the more images you can give us the more we can use. Wedding submissions should have a strong theme or motif and great images. The more well-answered your questionnaire is, the better.
5. How many images should I send?
Between 20 and 25 images are needed. If we require more someone from our editorial department will be in touch.
6. Will I be in the magazine?
Our print magazine, which comes out twice a year in January and July, features several real weddings each issue. When you submit your real wedding, you are submitting both for online and print. If you wish to be in print ONLY please indicate that in your submission form.
7. How do I create a zip file?
