A Manzanita Tree Themed Wedding in London, Ontario

By Today's Bride on June, 16 2010

Tatiana and Greg are rich in their friendships and ended up with 16 attendants when they married at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church followed by a reception at the Hellenic Centre in London, Ont. The wedding was designed around a theme of Manzanita trees in shades of purple and silver. The theme was repeated in decor, invitations, wedding cake and a custom runner with hand-painted monogram and purple orchid motif.

Clover-leaf round tables for the parents were mixed with rectangular tables for the 375 guests to add interest. A centrepiece was a four-foot Manzanita tree and two clusters of cylinder vases on either side with submerged orchids and floating candles. The dance floor was draped and, in the centre, three spiraling chandeliers hung at different heights.
