An Intimate Outdoor Wedding in Burlington, Ontario

By Today's Bride on November, 17 2008

Fifty close friends and family gathered together in an intimate setting when Sheryl Richmond and Jeremy Brown exchanged vows. It was the first day of autumn and signaled the start of their life as husband and wife.

The service was held out of doors in a setting with green lawn, flower beds and enormous trees filling a landscape that spread down to the shores of Lake Ontario.

The service and reception were held at Geraldo’s at LaSalle Park in Burlington, Ontario. An outdoor cocktail party for the guests followed the service while the wedding party was photographed in the gardens. Then, everyone moved indoors for an evening dinner followed by the cutting of the cake and a late-night dessert table. Guests smiled when they saw the little bride and groom atop the wedding cake. The groom was carrying golf clubs! Following the reception, everyone was invited to the home of the groom’s parents, Allana and Derek Brown of Oakville, where the party continued into the wee small hours.
