A Red and Gold Outdoor Wedding in Toronto, Ontario

By Today's Bride on June, 16 2010

Nadia met NBA player Matt through friends when he was playing for the Toronto Raptors. The attraction was mutual and they quickly became an item.

Guests came from New Hampshire, Michigan, Oregon and England to participate in the ceremony at the Sunnybrook Estates. Long-time friend of the groom's family, Father Steven Montesanti, came from New Hampshire to perform the ceremony.

With so many tall guests attending, some tables had to be raised in height for their comfort! Everyone indulged in the special candy room. And the cake was topped with a Chinese good luck symbol to symbolize the bride's father's family roots.

Bora Bora and then to Africa where Matt (who now plays for the San Antonio Spurs) represented Basketball Without Borders.
