A Scottish Themed Wedding in Toronto, Ontario

By Today's Bride on November, 16 2010

Larissa and Adrian grew up around the corner from each other but didn't decide to date until their early 20s, and then there was magic!

The wedding had a Scottish theme; the bride wore a six pence coin in her shoe, her garter was made of the Chalmers' family tartan, the bouquet had white heather, the groom's sister read a Scottish love poem and a bagpiper waited on the 10th fairway of Islington Golf Club in Toronto to pipe them down the aisle at the outdoor service.

At the Islington Golf & Country Club, a wishing tree was set up, inviting the 150 guests to write a personal note to the couple. To persuade the couple to kiss, guests had to correctly answer a trivia question about Larissa and Adrian.
