A Romantic Black, White and Grey Wedding in St-Alexis-de-Montcalm, Quebec

It was a magical Christmas when Stephane proposed to Julie. The pair had been together for about 10 years when Julie’s husband gave her a giant wrapped box on Christmas Eve.

“When I opened it, there was a sign saying ‘Will you …’ then I had to pull on a little chain and I could read ‘marry me?’” describes Julie. “Of course, I said yes!”

The couple tied the knot on August 6, 2011 in front of about 50 guests. The black, white and grey-themed wedding was held at the St. Alexis Church in Quebec.

The couple kicked off the night dancing to the tango. The bride says her favourite moment of the day was taking their wedding pictures.

“It was a magical princess day,” Julie says. “It was so romantic.”
