Josie and Ryan met while working on TV, so it was no surprise that lights, camera, action were a big part of their day.
The bride’s gown, by Cymbeline, was in champagne lace and her best woman and flower girl were a contrast in black. The service, at St. Bonaventure, had flair; the priest had the congregation laughing as he related stories about the couple’s second passion – food!
A red carpet and Oscar-like backdrop welcomed the 200 guests to the Boiler House in Toronto’s Distillery District. Tequila shots with orange wedges followed the formal dinner. At midnight, McDonald’s cheeseburgers, poutine and red velvet cake were served as dancing continued into the wee hours of the morning.
