An Elegant Black and White Wedding in Ajax, Ontario

Jaime and Rob’s story started as friends, but after seven years they put their friendship on the line and started dating. The duo worked at the same local pub and they couldn’t deny the attraction after spending more and more time together.

“Without a doubt it was the best decision we could have made, ” says Jaime.

Like a scene straight out of a movie, Rob surprised Jaime by proposing on a horse-drawn carriage ride in front of Niagara Falls during a December weekend getaway.

“As soon as we got all cuddled under a huge blanket, it started to snow. It was perfect,” Jaime describes.  

The pair’s black-and-white, classic themed wedding was held on November 5, 2011 in front of 130 guests. The ceremony and reception were held at the Deer Creek Golf and Banquet Facility in Ajax, Ont.  

The bride liked all the details of her wedding, from their table cards, which were pictures of the couple holding numbers, to their guest book, which was a scrapbook filled with personal messages. The couple’s wedding song was Tonight by Faber Drive, which described the pair to a tee.
